Car
Driving to Klaipėda is a great option if you plan to explore the surrounding areas as well. The city is accessible by the A1 highway which connects Vilnius and Klaipėda. The journey takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Train
Although there is no direct train to Klaipėda, you can take a train to the city of Šiauliai and then transfer to a bus which will take you to Klaipėda in about 2 hours. The journey by train from Vilnius to Šiauliai takes approximately 3 hours.
Boat
Although Klaipėda is a port city, there are no regular passenger ferry services. However, you can take a ferry from Kiel or Travemünde in Germany to Klaipėda if you have your own boat or if you book a private charter.
